Kayla is watering the phals. There is no way to feasibly water several thousand phals without getting water in the crowns; therefore, we make sure that they are watered early in the day and that all the fans are running so the plants will dry out before the evening. We water the phals about once a week during the winter months; however, they require more water during the summer.
