In the background behind Emily is a long cool cell- (an evaporative cooler.) Each greenhouse has one of these to help cool the temperatures in the summertime.

The temperature coming in is cooled from 12- 17 degrees, depending upon the humidity.

I know the orchids appreciate it, but no more than the workers!

You can also see a part of one of the many fans in the greenhouses, - because orchids like moving air!

During the winter large propane heaters keep the temperature at the desired level.
