Nobile dendrobiums have the common characteristic of having the bloom come off the side of the stem.
The two nobile dendrobiums to the side are just two of many that bloomed in January. They are fantastic. It seems as if the yellow and gold varieties tend to make more blooms for us in the sitting end of the business. One on the left is actually a light yellow- even though it looks somewhat washed out. (Amateur photographer- me) It is so impressive because of the number of blooms. So often the plant will have as many as 10-15 when they are purchased from Hawaii. This one has blooms all the way down. I didn't even count the number!
