Wayne and Rita are continually monitoring light in both greenhouses- and very often Wayne has to add or take away shadecloths. Orchids need different amounts of light. The fact that the second greenhouse is shaded sometimes by the neighbor's trees makes it difficult to keep just right. Greenhouse #1 has more different types of orchids in it, compared to only a few different types in greenhouse #2.

Wayne seems to have adding and removing shadecloths down to an art. It involves attaching the cloth to a line with a weight on the other end. He throws lines acoss and then adjusts the location of the cloth and then attaches the lines to the bottom and sides of the greenhouse.
